Our facility has been audited and approved by the US FDA and continues to be subject to periodic audits by the US FDA.
Our facility is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified. We have received 'Halal' certification and ICHQ7 certification. It is also subject to periodic audits by our customers. This ensures that the regulator and our customers are able to confirm the continuance of quality of our facility and processes.
Research Management
We have established our laboratory and R&D facility at the location of our manufacturing facility.
This laboratory is approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. Further, we have established a “pilot plant” at the same site, which enables trial runs of new production processes and products prior to commencement of commercial production.
We have expertise in Synthetic chemistry, a well equipped laboratory with modern analytical instruments and an on-line literature search facility.

Health & Safety
We are fully committed towards sustainable methods of production, extensively taking into account the mitigation of ecological impacts of the business.
The effluent treatment comprises a physio-chemical treatment, which precedes activated sludge process and tertiary treatment. We have also installed a four stage multiple evaporator system, followed by a process in our reverse osmosis plant. We believe that such processes have assisted us in increasing product quality and industry goodwill.

Factory ManagerMr. Shyam Ahire has been factory manager at Taloja for Chemspec Chemicals since 2013. At Chemspec, Mr.Shyam Ahire has been pivotal in the completion of P-5 and P-6 plant projects, as well as the overall maintenance of factory infrastructure and engineering services. With him on the manufacturing team, we hope to continue success in implementing in-house projects and enhancing our infrastructural organisation.

EHS OfficerMr. Prakash Shete is the Environment, Health and Safety Officer at Chemspec Chemicals. He monitors and ensures strict compliance with environment and safety laws, while leading the team to enhance sustainable methods and production employed in the facilities. Mr. Prakash Shete is adept at establishing, preparing, maintaining, and implementing of Procedures of Environmental & OHSAS.
